Im woundering if this is an aspie thing or not.
I have a boyfriend who I love and he loves me and I like hugging him and every now and then petting his hair but I really dont like kissing. He likes it but I dont know why. To me its just odd. Its shareing germs and the feeling of some one lips on yours is just strange to me. I dont like it. And I have no clue why he likes it so much. He knows I dont like it. Im just woundering if not liking kissing is an aspie thing or a me thing. Any one else not like kissing?

To be perfectly honest about the only people I've really kissed are my parents. Sometimes I think I'm the only grown woman who doesn't always see it as "romantic". I don't mind sweet, tender closed-mouthed kissing in movies or TV but when they French and slobber all over each other and won't stop---YUCK! :eew: The human mouth is such a cess pool of filthy germs and bacteria it makes me wonder why we still find kissing acceptable, especially since we're not allowed to touch anything with our hands anymore or we'll all get sick with flu and die, or even worse we'll miss a day of work or school and then get fired or our kids will never make it to college AND BE UNEMPLOYED WORTHLESS BUMS BECAUSE WE GOT SICK AND DIDN'T DRAG OUR GERM-RAVAGED BODIES TO---
I've digressed. Again. Sorry.

Now that I know how to do it reasonably well I don't mind at all. Before it wasn't so good. Probably for anyone involved.

I wasn't too keen on it at first, it felt really bizarre. But now I like it. 8)

I can see me liking kissing, not that I would know seeing as I've never kissed ever. Still, I'm a hopeless romantic, and there have been plenty of times I've just wanted to jump up and kiss someone to the point of which I was getting nauseous holding myself back .

I'd like hugging a whole bunch too, because I'm a distant person and hugs make me feel like I'm alive. But I've got this thing where people can NOT under any circumstance touch my shoulders, so I get really freaked out when people hug me out of nowhere.

It's too awkward for me.

i did not like it when I was 15 and younger. then i realized its because all the girls I kissed were bad kissers.

Exactly how I felt for quite awhile, the sensation was just odd.

the key to having fun during a kiss is to get loose

I don't hate it, but it just feels wet to me. I'll do it though, because he likes kissing. But it feels kind of weird.
I more so enjoy being close to him, having him stroke my hair during. Y'know?

I can't say that I've ever got to that point. I can't say that I would want to get to that point.

i didn't really get to that point yet; but the idea of frenching does feel awkward to me, i doubt i'd like that.
the normal 'friendship' kisses, cheek/neck area dont really do anything for me though, it's just, convention...

*shudders* I HATE KISSING! I don't like the feeling of wet stuff on my mouth and I don't like the texture of it. My ex sometimes forced me to kiss him and I hated it. I tried really hard to do it, though, because he got his feelings hurt when I didn't want to.
