Daryl Hannah arrested civil disobedience (environment)

Whether or not you agree with her---and I generally do agree with her ---I hope you give her credit for bravery. And I hope she has people backing her up, and I hope the organizers of this protest have lawyers lined up for all the people who choose to take that step of civil disobedience.

And please remember, Daryl is probably one of us. In an interview, she disclosed that she is probably on the spectrum.

Unless she's had confirmation by a trained medical or mental-health professional, then she is just as likely to not be on the spectrum.

Self-diagnosis is pointless without valid confirmation.

We might have to agree to disagree on this. More and more, I'm thinking of Asperger's / Autism Spectrum as self-help and self-advocacy. Good-hearted professionals can offer to help out, but they can't run the show.

And plus, as we've had a number of cases here on WP, many so-called professionals are just plain lousy.
