Most books written for adults seem to be written for parents, caregivers, or health service providers.
Most of the adult-oriented books written for Aspies I've seen are specifically geared to helping Aspies deal with the college environment. (A few decades too late for me)
Ironically the most helpful book I've found, so far, is Freaks, Geeks and Asperger Syndrome, written by Luke Jackson, an Aspie who was 13 at the time.
Disclaimer: I have not been aware of AS all that long, and so my database of sources, though growing, is still rather limited.
