I'm from Ontario too. Welcome. I also took the AQ test, and scored a 40/ 50, or for the one on here, 171/200

Honestly though, I just found out about six months back that I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was a kid... my mom never did nothing about it either. Just left me to wonder what the f_ck was wrong with me... Now I'm learning new terms and wondering where to go from here... it's rough. Specially since it was never documented... or if it was, mom lost the documentation...

Given a “tentative” diagnosis as a child as I needed services at school for what was later correctly discovered to be a major anxiety disorder.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.
