Well, it's not a sequel to Titanic, but I'm sure the production company would like to fool people into thinking it is. These are the people responsible for Transmorphers, Snakes on a Train, Paranormal Entity, and The Da Vinci Treasure. They also made their own version of War of the Worlds, and I'm sure they were hoping that their movie War of the Worlds 2 would be mistaken for a sequel to the Spielberg film. I've seen one of their rip-off movies in its entirety (Sherlock Holmes – I'm such a big Holmes nut that I'll watch anything Holmes related out of curiosity) and segments of several others (Transmorphers 2, I Am Omega, King of the Lost World, Alien vs Hunter, War of the Worlds) on the Syfy Channel, and they don't even have the decency to be so bad they're good. They just boring, which is worse than bad. I'll be fair and admit that I found one of their movies, Frankenstein Reborn, to be halfway decent, but this was made before they started cranking out rip-offs with no consideration whatsoever for quality.

The Matrix should never get a sequel. The film was excellent as it was and a sequel is completely unneccessary. If it was made it could even tarnish the original film and that would be awful. I'm just glad the Wachowski (spellling?) brothers never put out a rushed sequel that ruined the Matrix's story and that is commendable.

It's a good movie...it's a parody of high school theatre productions, not Hamlet.
