Yale Aspergers Survey

Yesterday morning in counseling I was informed of some good news.

As I was told, Yale is currently performing a study to collect data from people who have, or think they have aspergers.

Here is Wisconsin this is being done in madison at the university hospital.

What is interesting about this is that the participants can get a full psycological work-up from aspergers experts, plus a lot more done than any private psychologist would ever do. And since it's a research project, I can get it done for free. This would include a very expensive MRI scan of my brain!

My counsler has already signed up her aspie son, and I need to find out more next week. However at this point, it looks like I'm for sure going to sign up for this.

This study is open to people who are not diagnosed with AS, as well? That seems a bit odd, what exactly are they studying? If there is something going on near me, and a diagnosis is not required, I may participate, as well. Do they do evaluations of the participants to try to see if they do in fact have AS or not?

I couldn't find anything specific to it.
