This guy is:

1. 6 feet tall, but a bit pudgy, and has an Al Bundy-like appearance
2. College educated (bachelor's degree)
3. Hobbies include traveling, going to museums, and outdoor activities, and is generally artsy and adventurous
4. A bit socially awkward, but makes the first move, and makes his best effort to show he can be a good partner
5. Wants marriage and kids eventually
6. In his early 30s
7. Not currently employed, but very diligently looking for work in his field.
8. Currently living with family, but very diligently looking for his own place as soon as he finds work
9. Hygiene is immaculate, and usually wears a polo shirt and khakis, or a T-shirt and shorts.
10. Christian, slightly politically conservative, but is accepting of issues like abortion and same-sex marriage.

Nothing wrong with the list. I am a raving liberal though so the conservative thing would be a no go for me.

My thoughts on that person?

Painfully average.

When presenting/critiquing yourself try to come up with a list of what sets you apart instead of creating a list trying to convince yourself/others you are normal.

Same.
Although, I'm currently dating a registered Republican, so I can't in good conscience say it wouldn't happen. :?

There is nothing wrong with your description, but chemistry between two people is something that cannot be summed up in words. Even with all the "best" (or all the "worst"!) qualities, some women will be attracted to you, and some won't.

I was simply describing myself, looking for feedback.

And I have no problem being with someone who isn't conservative.

Ohh.... so that's why you've been going on all those ultra-liberal rants around here lately, now it makes perfect sense!

And Tim, you're fine. You're a pretty average American, and you seem to be doing well for yourself. The one thing I would say is that you should probably try to dress better.

I tried that once. We had many, many political arguments. Eventually we agreed never to watch the news together... : )

I would say your a typical American, nothing out of the norm.

But surely you must have something that makes people think twice about you?

I am curious how you would present yourself.

What's so special about you?

Ideally this is how the list should look, according to willa.

1. Brad Pitt like features.
2. Special forces Commando and CEO of a firm, fluent in 10 languages.
3. The gift of the gab or in other words, a used cars salesman or market stall owner.
4. Hobbies include backyard brawling, skydiving, bungee jumping, extreme sports, recreational drugs, martial arts master and champion athlete.
5. Slept with 1000s of women.
6. Wants a theme park and a modern mansion
7. Owner of a Lamborghini, only wears Armani suits or designer labels.
