zombie ad

I find the zombie ad that keeps coming up when you access a specific group (ie. womens discussion) very upsetting. I prob. need to learn how to block ads, but hubbys not around to teach me this week. So I will prob not come back to WP for a bit. I don't like scary things that I can't choose not to look at.

Yes, I was just about to make a thread about this. It scares me too. I really don't like it, and am trying to think if I can manage to stay away from WP until Halloween is over (unlikely) because of it. I just put my hand over it or refresh the page right now, but it still freaks me out to even put my hand near it.

Just use Firefox and Adblock.

But I just finished moving all my favorites (hundreds of them) from IE to Chrome :?

They're kind of freaky looking. It takes a lot to bother me and I think that the picture was supposed to be more funny than scary, but any attempt at humor kind of died somewhere along the line and I can see how it could be disturbing to some people who aren't quite as desensitized as I am. It's kind of cartoony, but a massive fail if they wanted to be funny, since I think it has blood dripping from the eyes and a genuinely disturbing skin tone.
