If you mean being judged by their race, gender, religion or sexual orientation etc.., then absolutely the world would be a far better place without that.
People do need to be judged though solely based on the decisions they make, because that is a direct reflection of their judgement. ie) if I'm a black male who robbed someone, then I should be judged for the crime that I committed and punished for it. If I'm simple a black male then I should not be judged
So to answer your question we do need to be judged to some degree, but by what we do, not who we are
