I could speak in such manner should I ever wish to but people would find it very odd and so I shan't.
Um, if this isn't the place for those on the spectrum to relax and be odd, where is?
Most of the people I've known who talk in third person were either doing it to entertain themselves or did it because they'd been traumatized and deal with dissociation. I think they're a bit more prone to do it in terms of dissociation because they're more aware of the "split" trauma can cause and because they like to be strictly accurate and truthful -- even if they don't have clearly defined multiple personalities, they are aware that there's more than one "part" of their brain responding, that they have independent thought processes, so they say "we" instead of "I".
