I wrote this the other day when I was feeling a little down.

Me

The many faces that surround me each day,
The hustle and bustle, I just wish they'd go away,
The world to me is a confusing place,
I don't feel I belong to this human race,
I'm different you see, I don't seem to fit in,
Try as I might, social skills awards I just wont win,
Loud noises scare me and lights are too bright.
I seem to live in a constant state of fright,
My obsessions get called strange or odd by you,
But it's how I am, It's what I do,
I don't want to be normal because what is,
I just want to be me. Liz.

Alot of your rhymes felt very forced or didn't make sense, I suggest trying to write without rhyming. Generally, that let's your mind float a little more free.

I feel liberated when I read your poem, because you say right out loud the stuff that I've been afraid to say for so long. You have a gift for getting the point across - bless you, and keep writing!
