I hate things touching my face, even my own things. My hair was touching my face on my cheek near my eye and my body just reacted to it and I hit myself in the eye without doing it on purpose/realizing what I was doing.

Ow. BTW, yes, I feel stupid. Anyone relate to hating things touching your face? PEOPLE are always trying to touch my stupid face too no matter how many times I tell them not to.

(Some seem to enjoy doing it to annoy me, what is wrong with people?)

You are not alone. Not by a long shot. I was smoking cigarettes for awhile again last year and I burned a bunch of the hair around my face so now I've got all these stupid whispies that annoy me to no end and were bugging the crap out of me tonight. Also, I LOATHE water on my face in the shower - I keep a towel hanging handy.

I hate having hair on my face. My mum keeps saying, ''you will look nicer with a fringe, you should style your hair differently'', and etc. Yes, I know my stupid hairstyle makes me look like Shannon Matthew's mother which explains the reason why I get awful glares from people, but I also hate hair being on my face too. So it's a 2-way situation really.

Me too. The only thing I like on my face is my lizard. When we were moving, the beds and her cage were all packed up in the moving van and we had to sleep on an air matress. I often woke up to find Pippin sprawled out on my face. I also don't mind it when cats or horses rub their faces against mine. I don't like dogs or rats licking my face obsessively.

I used to have hair that was so long, I could sit on it. I would put it up in a ponytail but pefered my mom doing that for me because she could get all the hair. If any hair touched my face, I would pull it out or cut it off. I eventualy just got fed up and cut it short. When I watch TV shows or movies where someone is in the hospital, I cringe when the "loved ones" stroke their face to confort them. I don't liked being hugged, but I can tolerate it. Stroking my face would set off a meltdown.

I hate things touching my face. When there is a light touch on my face it both tickles and hurts extremely. If something keeps touching my face three or more times in a row I get physically and emotionally overwhelmed because it's so frustrating. Even wearing sunglasses can cause discomfort. I also have a form of synesthesia that basically makes it so that things that I see I also feel. Bugs, flies, etc that fly close to my face feels like they are dragging a feather or very small soft wire across my face from where I see them. It's completely unbearable and sometimes I'll let out frustrated sobs if I can't shoo the flies away.
I also have some strange nerve wirings on my face. If I or anyone taps my cheek, my lip and eye on that side twitch. I wonder if that has anything to do with extra sensitivity on my face.

I am so glad that people almost never ever try to touch my face. I hate having things touch my face, including my glasses. My sunglasses are moar annoying than my glasses, which is why I wear hats instead of sunglasses against the glare. I am so glad that I overcame my fear of touching my eyeballs and can now wear contacts instead of glasses. I overcame my fear of touching my eyeballs when I developed a worst evar eye inflammation during which I had to stay at the hospital and everyone else was touching my eyeballs and sticking needles into my eyeballs. Exposure therapy was extremely effective in this case.

I only seem to have an issue with my eye area and my throat. If something touches my throat I can have a panic attack. If something touches my eye area I feel nauseous. My cheeks, nose, and forehead are OK though.
