I am sure I would know if I was faking it...

But I have been told I was faking fatigue, dizziness, and other symptoms, but was diagnosed with allergies. something I knew I had for a long time.

I have been told that I was faking it when I was puking once or twice a day for 2 months. Lo and behold I was diagnosed with Acid Reflex.

My mom thinks she is has just about every illness in the world, and I lived with her for several years, so my dad and step-mom just thinks I am just delusional like her. So they do not believe me when I tell them my back hurts sometimes. And it does not matter that I have been telling this to them for 16 years, quite verbally.

So I am sure they would just think I am delusional or faking it if I tell them I think I have aspergers...

Do any of your parents think you are "faking" or "delusional"?

I've never really had this problem. If you're convinced you're sick, though, I suggest getting in touch with a doctor, if only to ask them their opinion about your symptoms and how long you've had them. If the word is that you might be sick, tell your parents what the doctor said and ask them to schedule an appointment.

Yeah, but they changed their view/attitude after tests (that I payed for myself) came back positive (and even kind of dramatically positive). There were a lot of 'blind alleys' though, so it took a while (about 10 years). It's too bad that people who are supposed to be on your side can act like an enemies about that.

I had the dizziness and nausea once because I was holding my pee in....in a math in 10th grade and the teacher wouldn't let me go. I told her I felt sick and she didn't believe me...so I sorta fainted on the ground and I got to go to the bathroom in the nurses. 8)

As for being sick. I have been sick multiple times and gone to school. I vocalized this....so when I am really sick...it is legit.

No but when I was in 6th grade, I was having seizures and I remember hearing my mother say my teacher and the staff thought I was faking them. I guess that is why they ignored it and never told my parents. They did finally pay attention to it one day when it lasted longer and my lips turned blue and my eyes looked like they rolled to the back of my head and that was like a wake up call for them. I was taken off the pills right after that and I was put on medication to calm my body down for the seizures and I gained all this weight because I was always hungry. I thought I was because my mind would trick me that I was when I wasn't so I ate three times as much.
