That moment of euphoric bliss you feel when your doctor asks for for the 4th time while gawking at you whether or not your REALLY a male, despite what the medical records and name states... Happened to before I could get my name changed officially on my insurance.

It makes me feel like I am doing something right! Which shocks me because I do not try hard at all...

Congrats on the success. I know a lot of TS women who have been on hormones for years and some have had significant surgeries and, well, are still quite discernible tgs and not ggs.

Yeah, it shocked me too, because I don't wear make-up, I never wear fashionable clothing (granny dresses and crocs is my style!), and I do not train my voice very often either, heck if I even brush my hair every day!

But I guess it is the me not trying very hard thing that actually makes me look for feminine than the people who slap on huge coats of make-up, highly fashionable clothing, and the trying too hard thing. I want to look like I am supposed to be at school, not going on a date!

And how have you been doing this?
Did you originally have a rather female face and a small height?
Would be interesting how you look like now.
Whatever, congratulations to your success btw!

I would love to know "how" myself. I have always had a face that made people fight over whether or not I was male or female. I am quite tall though, 5 foot 9. I think I look like Sasquatch but apparently others think differently.

Sasquatch... sounds pretty unpretty xD
If I'd see a sasquatch with the face of Lucy Liu or Jessica Alba I'd probably date it xDDDD
Being intimate with sasquatch might be somehow disturbing though. But there might be some people with a sasquatch fetish, some people even make love with cows. ^^
No, according to your awful ability of rating your look you should probably ignore your own opinion and just listen to otherones opinions about you.^^
You seem to be blessed with your face, very enviable!

Thankyou! I keep being told that I am one of the lucky ones... I have always wondered how I could be lucky at all trapped in a body that produces poison, I mean testosterone. But hey, if life gives you lemons, make Lemon Meringue Pie!

you're right, at least 50% of humanity is still luckier than you. (if 50% of the humans are women)
But we always think in relations. And in relation to the ones who share your destiny, or at least this part of your destiny, you are lucky.
I could imagine that you could in spite of that never socialise as liberally as other women. And much more if you fall in love the chance is rather low that he would be happy with what you appeared to be once. So calling you lucky would be somehow unfair.
But your attitude is the great. I wish you the best.

I wish you the best as well. I get depression a lot, but like the song suggests, "Always look on the bright side of life". Ignoring how morbid that song actually is. But when you don't live with much, you kind of make the little bit matter. I wish you all the luck in the world! :-)

Congrats. :)

I haven't got my name legally changed yet, so when university classes started up, in one of my smaller classes the teacher was calling the roll. The person right before my name was a guy, but he was absent. When the teacher called my female name, I indicated that was me, and he didn't believe me and instead asked if I was the guy he called prior to calling my name. I told him I'd explain after class. He shrugged, marked my female name as absent (apparently he still didn't believe it was me) and I ended up telling him I was trans and female name was actually me after class was over and the other students had left.

I don't try to be feminine, but I do take care of my appearance because I now have something worth taking care of. In the last couple of weeks I've had compliments I really appreciated. I was chatting to some women at a church "coffee & cake" afternoon and one of them admired my outfit and said she liked to see a really feminine woman.
