i went to my first same sex wedding yesterday.my second oldest sister lori married her partner robin yesterday in simmsbury connecticut.it was a full and legaly binding wedding,i didnt know CT has legalized same sex marriage,i know mass and vermont had but not ct.but ct has now so thats good.it was a great wedding and my sisters ex husband even showed up with his new wife and kid.our other sister and three other brothers didnt show and refused to say why,but whatever

I grew up near Simsbury, it's a really beautiful town. Congrats to Lori and Robin!

everyone think connecticut is a continuis suburb of N.Y but northwestern,CT is so beautifull.my niece lives in east hartland which is about as rural as even vermont

Yeah, that pervasive myth always cracked me up. I lived 2 1/2 hours away from NYC, growing up! CT is just beautiful, mostly (except for Bridgeport and the like). Vermont is gorgeous, too.

sharon,ct is my all time favorite town.rte 7 from the MA berkshires through the CT taconics is also a great area
