I was bullied and teased horribly-I was chased by a group of bullies through school when I was in 7th grade and just thought it was hopeless trying to get help for any of it as I would get the "boys will be boys" treatment.

Being spat at, getting egged to do things and a kid asking me how my period is. 6th grade was the worst for bullying.

I was bullied, very much. It ended around high school, but it still left me distrustful of humanity and full of anger for years to come at everyone involved, the kids who would spread news of how funny it would be to make me angry, the kids who ganged up outside after school or on a playground or someplace out of sight of authority, the teachers who only managed to take down one or two students, ugh it's bringing back bad memories.

I was bullied in junior high but was more of a loner in high school. As an adult I have been taken advantage of or manipulated but now I am smart enough or perceptive enough to know what sorts of people will take advantage and I tend to avoid them.My social life basically consists of the people that I work with and since I am very good at my job ,bullying isn't really an issue. As an adult I did develop into a well built man so that also tends to lessen anyone who might try to bully .

I had people TRY to bully me. When my patience wore thin, the fights would begin and I would win.

I was bullied, but it was a kind of long-term passive bullying. Rather than obvious definable acts, it was more that other kids acted a certain way around me, took advantage of me, shunned me. Although, there were a few memorable moments like having coke poured over my head, being touched inappropriately, having things stolen etc.

I wasn't. Well, not to be knowledge. A few unsavoury incidences, but I don't think they qualify as bullying per say.

However, I rarely went to school/socialised with people my own age until very recently.

I was bullied all through grammar school and part of high school. I learned how to fight back both verbally and physically and as an adult to go through channels as need be to report the person.

Heaven help anyone who tries to bully me now! I have a reputation as a very confrontational b**** who you do not want to cross. However, when people are nice to me, I am sweet as pie and will do anything in the world for someone else. But cross me and I'm your worst enemy and I don't forget.

School was hell for many reasons, this chief among them. Even the teachers got in on it. You couldn't pay me enough money to step within 100 yards of any school.

You brought back memories of teachers making both a bad example of me in front of the class and a good example of me for being the quiet one when the class was disruptive.

Mostly it was verbal and mental, but ocassionaly someone would come up and hit me for no reason.

I was bullied some in school but not anything too extreme. From 5th-7th grade was the worst. There were certain kids who picked on me or made fun of me in a really nasty way. One girl would threaten to beat me up but she never actually laid a finger on me. I never reacted much to it, and maybe that's why they would eventually move on and leave me alone, because they could not get a reaction out of me. Not saying it didn't bother me what they did, it hurt my feelings, but I understood they were just being kids, imitating the attitudes of stupid adults and it was all a smokescreen anyway. It bothered me more the way adults treated me. I was more likely to react to that, and then I'd get in trouble for "talking back" or being "smart".

Mentally and physically at school. Just mentally now at work.
I remember being bullied at school and it would cause me to have a meltdown, which normally made things worse.
The was a incident once when I was about 8, where my teacher made me look foolish in front of the whole class. As she mocked me, she rocked back and forth on the rear legs of her chair. I had a meltdown, lost my temper and yanked her off her chair by her hair.
It did stop the mockery, but it did land me in a load of trouble.
It does make a nice school based anecdote after dinner though!

I don't think so, but maybe I was and I didn't notice. I interpret most things as playing.
