How some people can dislike someone without cause, I will never know. I WANT to be neutral and calm toward people who haven't done anything to me, not have animosity. So when I get nasty vibes before I even know someone, it just f*cks with me. That pointlessly judgmental thought pattern is just... idiotic.

I'm the same. I'm neutral unless something specific happens that makes me think of the person negatively. I also tend to ignore gossip about a person I don't know well yet and judge for myself. Sometimes the others were right about the person, sometimes not.

I tend to be generally suspicious of anyone before I know them. I know it's stupid but, meh, can't really help it.

Because the slightest thing in their personality will clash with you.

i.e. Even the most accepting person could be a little turned off by a bigot.
