Is anyone else really sensitive to the cold and wind?

I feel like I am constantly freezing when everyone else is normal. And if there even the slightest bit of air moving on my skin, I have to cover up.

Is this normal?

I get cold very easy. I've been this way since childhood. It almost feels like pain to me, only way to describe it. I used to throw fits as a child when it was cold and I had to get out of bed.
I think its just a sensory thing.

Yes! It is almost painful! I also get very tired when I'm cold. Like right now it days it's 74 degrees, and I have two shirts on a wool coat and I'm still cold. My nose and hands feel like ice. I've been this way for as long as I can remember.

cold hurt me a lot, especially my ears. I wear layers and a big fuzzy hat with ear flaps all winter outside and layers and an earmuff band thing inside and I live in Georgia... where it almost never freezes.

Hot weather bothers but cold weather does not.
I think feeling cold is almost pleasurable.

I'm cold most of the time. Even in summer.

I'm totally opposite
I'd rather go out in cold weather than hot weather.

My ex husband frequently made fun of me for having such cold-to-the-touch skin. If I had a fever or something and felt warm, he would feel me and tell me I feel human.. indicating that most of the time I don't. I've always told people that I'm cold-blooded because I find it difficult to keep warm on my own and sitting in the sunshine is what helps me warm up the best. My fingernails turn purple on random occasions leading me to believe I may actually have some physical heart or lung problem.

In regards to cold hurting me, I feel this way as well. My husband likes to tease me by putting cold things on me and I sometimes start crying and tell him that it hurts. He doesn't understand and always seems surprised when I cry out. This is especially true of my lower back. Cold temperatures that I may be able to handle elsewhere on my skin are very painful on my lower back.

I am very sensitive to cold. It's almost painful to me. I also cannot stand cold, wet weather or getting rained on at all. If my feet get wet I am miserable until I can do something about it. I'm also cold when no one else seems to be.

I hate to feel cold too. I don't mind rain. I like it.

I hate to feel a breeze on my skin (unless I am hot and not feeling dry).

I am very sensitive to the cold, and I also feel it is cold at temperatures that others feel is nice or even warm. If it is below 80 degrees Fahrenheit, then I am cold. I thankfully live where there are very warm (over 90/100 degrees Fahrenheit) summers, but in the fall/winter/spring I generally wear multiple layers and socks all the time. My hands are also cold to the touch when I shake hands with other people.
