Heh, this is a fun thread....

- I invented a character called Brelk when I was 5, and wrote stories about him...

- One year I asked everyone I knew to get me model kits for my birthday, and never built any of them...

- I consider bad cover versions of songs I like to be a form of sacrilege...

- I once unscrewed someone's garden gate and hid it in the next street as a joke...

- I was a contestant on a kids TV programme when I was 12, the memory still makes me cringe to this day...

That will do for now I think

My first name derives from my middle name. So, in essence, I have the same first and middle names.

None of my limbs are the same size (i.e. my right foot is smaller than my left foot, my right leg is smaller, my right hand is smaller)

I have every single episode of Will & Grace recorded on either VHS or bought on DVD.

I have an average typing speed of 80 words per minute with a record time of 120.

My paternal grandfather, Ralph, was one of three children. His brother's name was Ray and his sister's name Carol. He married my paternal grandmother whose name was also Carol. They had three children, Susan, David, and Stephen. They divorced soon after Stephen was born and my grandmother never remarried. My grandfather, however, went on to marry a women name Martha, who already had three children from a previous marriage named, Susan, David, and Vicky. Together, they gave birth to Raplh Jr. So Ralph Sr. now had a sister named Carol; an ex-wife named Carol; two sons named David; two daughters named Susan; and another son with the same name as him.

- In elementary school, a girl once threw a Hardy Boys book at me for not paying close enough attention to her while she was talking and gave me eight stitches right below my right eye. Seven years later we went to the prom together.

- I've been programming computer games since I was 14.

- I believe Stephen King is the greatest writer of our time.

- I once held my arm in icewater for eleven and a half minutes to win an endurance competition at my college.

-During high school I spent most of my time roleplaying online or tabletop roleplaying.

-I used to collect pewter dragons and tiger and wolf figurines.

-I like to get up early in the mornings, wrap myself up in a blanket, and sit in front of the computer, drinking either vanilla or raspberry chai.

-I helped paint two murals at my high school, with the art club, but both of them are gone now because they tore down the school and rebuilt it over the past couple of years.

-I love all animals, though I am afraid of sharks, and parrots especially seem to hate me.

-I wear a cat-eared hat almost everywhere I go.

I collect beanie babies . . .

Horses hate me . . . (really, hate me - I've broken my jaw and my arm riding one - they seem to be ok so long as I'm on the ground - but get me on their back . . . we won't be doing that anymore)

I have 2 1/2 degrees in psychology and one in criminology . . .

I crochet and quilt obcessively (well, really, it is socially acceptable stimming - since I like fuzzy AND smooth things . . .)

- I am a monozygotic twin.

- My last name comes from a word meaning "wall-eyed". I often wonder what kind of person my wall-eyed ancestor was.

- I still sleep with my teddy-bear. I also sleep with books because I'm too lazy to put them back on the bookshelves, so they just stay beside and below my pillow, and between the bed and the wall.

- People who want me to dress "like a girl" make me feel nervous and uncomfortable.

- My favorite movie character is Garth from Wayne's World.

1) I intentionally gave birth to my second son at home all by myself. There was no doctor, no midwife. My husband and my older son, who was 2 at the time, stood by and took pictures, no one else was allowed to be there. I researched for 6 months how to do it, so I knew how to do it. I birthed him myself in my bathtub, he was born in the water. I pulled him out of the water and it was quite a happy birth. He just turned 3 years old in December. Shows how wonderful the human body is. People can't understand how I can learn as much as a doctor and a midwife just by reading, but if they knew I was a wonderful talented Aspie, I'm sure they would understand how amazing we can be sometimes. :-)
2) I changed my name. I started going by my middle name at age 8, then legally changed it to that name (Brooke) at age 28.
3) I like rocks and geology.
