Out of sheer curiosity I'd like to see how people on here score on the four tests of this site. (You have to click on "music tests")
It contains four music tests to test different musical abilites like pitch or rhythm perception.
So feel free to post your scores (and maybe there'll emerge a pattern...who knows).

Tonedeaf Test: 55.6% (possible pitch perception or memory deficit)

Adaptive Pitch: Can differentiate tones 14.4 Hz apart (between low-normal and possible deficit)

Visual Learning Test: 75% (between very good and excellent)
- pitch discrimination: 72.5%, musical memory: 80.5%, contour discrimination: 71.1%, attention: 66.7%, musical/visual abstraction: 80.8%

Rhythm Test: 64% (Normal range)

My boyfriend tells me I'm tone deaf all of the time. I know that I can't sing at all, because I've recorded myself and listened back and it sounded terrible, but while I was singing, it sounded pretty good.

I do well 'singing' on rock band, though, with changing my pitch and matching the lengths of the notes and such.

Those were harder than I thought they'd be

86.1% for the first
1.8 Hz for the second (though I'm not sure where they got that number, I was getting well over half the 0.75Hz ones right and probably about 95% of the 1.5 Hz right)
Didn't actually finish the third one, got about halfway through before getting frustrated and quit. I didn't really understand it, my percentage would have been less than 50%
72% for the fourth

Tone deaf 83.3%
Adaptive pitch 1.5Hz
Rhythm 72%

Musical visual 65% overall
Pitch discrimination 58%
Musical memory 65.5%
Contour discrimination 71.1%
Attention 62.4%
Musical/visual abstraction 62.7%

All in all quite a bit better than I expected. Just for reference I can't play any instrument and my music teacher gave up on me in school. However I do listen to a lot of music and my previous job used to involve testing electronic musical instruments.

I haven't taken the tests but I have perfect/absolute pitch, and I tune pianos by ear.

I have found on the other end of spectrum i am near tone perfect and can mimic a few as well as my fun trivia is identifying different musical instruments, roles in the music etc so i like a very wide diversity and sing fair when younger and know when i am flat or sharp

in Tonedeaf Test my only errors was hearing a difference that was not there (maybe I should retry this with good headphones to isolate from the environment?), score 77.8%, second time it was 80.6%

in Adaptive Pitch, score:
at 500 hz you can reliably differentiate two tones 2.7 hz apart
less than 0.75 hz - exceptional
less than 1.5 hz - very good
less than 6 hz - normal
less tahn 12 hz - low normal
greater than 16hz - possible pitch deficit

42nd Percentile

in AMVI I scored 90%, subscores:
Pitch discrimination: 89.9%
Musical memory: 92.5%
Attention: 87.1%
Musical/visual abstraction: 91.0%
Musical/visual abstraction: 91.0%

in rhythm test: 72%

a note: I'm a self-taught guitarist and music lover :)
