I can see the Pacific ocean from my apartment and my office. Can you see an ocean from where you are?

Nope. I've lived on the edges of lakes and rivers. Like right now, for instance.

I can see both... it's magical. It's the Atlantic, or water that leads to it, that I see.

I can't though I wish I could. It would be nice to be able to see the ocean from where I live or work.

Can't quite see it, but I'm close enough to smell it. Have always lived in beach towns. Maybe a five minute walk from here to the ocean.

One can see it on a good day from the nearest hill, technically (since it's a sea, but a sea is part of an ocean isn't it)

There's a spot a few miles from where I live where where you can see a little bit of ocean if you look between the hills.

Sadly, we don't have a very good view of the ocean here in Indiana. But if I walk outside, I can stare at a very large gurgling water fountain in the courtyard of my apartment complex. :P Actually, I like the sound it makes. Sort of soothing.

if i had some $$$$$$$ i'd live near the ocean. but property close to the ocean costs $$$$$$$ which is weird because it often gets the brunt of oceanic storms.

I am about half a mile away from the shore, and I live on the upper floor of an old two story Victorian house.

No. I've only seen the ocean once in my life.

Nope, but I can see the ocean right now as I'm at a 5-star resort for an MUN conference.
