Is it different from what "normal" people listen to?

I listen to mainly rock, but I like some rap and classical too. Oh, and Miles Davis.

The rock I like is blues-ish stuff like Led Zeppelin, Black Keys,Whites Stripes, etc.

Or hardcore punk such as COunterparts, Pennywise,Deftones, Melvins, and Bad Brains.

Or thrash metal \m/

I like just about all kinds of music. If it has something I like in it, then I'll listen to it. That said, I'm a huge metalhead. I LOVE metal. Everything from old-school to nu-school. Thrash to death. Doom to prog. You get the idea. Yes, I tend to listen to the more underground stuff from Europe, which many in my neck of the woods don't even know or care about. Most of my favorite bands are Swedish. Pain of Salvation (prog), Dreamshade (melodic death), Marionette (melodic death), and Lamb of God (groove) are at the top of my list right now. 3 of those bands are from Sweden. :  Anyway, music is one of my main special interests, so I could go on about this for days. Therefore, I will stop now.

Okay, I'll give you that. I'm not a huge fan of Norwegian/Viking metal. Some of it's okay, but it's far from being my favorite.

Current favorites: Tool, Across the Sun, Opeth

Rock and pop rock is my favorite *instantly feels out of place*

I like Lifehouse, Three Doors Down, The Fray...

I'm ashamed to say that I DO like One Direction...

I mostly listen to stuff that's kinda before my time, like the stuff my parents would listen to at my age. I also like classical music and have various soundtracks on my iTunes library, most of it from either video games or Disney movies. Yea, I'm weird...

Mostly all of my music on my phone and in my iTunes Library is electronic. House, trance, dubstep, drum n bass. I don't know it's just something about that genre that makes me feel alive and free. :D
The main artists I listen to are Skrillex, Nero, Pendulum, Knife party deadmau5 and a lot of others.
