I like suspense, humour, great lit, and anything well written. Except romance, because I don't care if boy meets girl.

It really depends. I enjoy much of the classical stuff (Shakespeare especially), but I also really enjoy reading biology-related books, especially those that have to do with diseases. I am currently reading Cobra Event by Richard Preston.
