How can I learn to recognise&understand facial expressio

They seem so complicated. I really dont know how to go about learning them.
I also dont understand emotions much so that complicates things.

I completely agree. It's tough. the only expressions I can really work out is if someone is smiling or crying. Although my mother has pointed out to me that it doesn't always mean that their happy. Currently I'm trying to use the internet to help. typing in an expression or emotion and seeing what faces come up. might help. According to my mum, neurotypicals usually understand without words, so unfortunately i don't think there's a guidebook or handbook for this sort of thing.
