Hey all

I thought that the first mass opposition to a large-scale war was the Vietnam war because of the TV coverage showing the destruction first-hand, but subsequent research has not backed this up.

What war was it that TV first covered, greatly increasing opposition and protest to war? I thought that it was Vietnam, could a history connoisseur please correct me?

I am willing to read big answers or be directed to other reading. The more in-depth the better.

Thanks

David
