Hello. My name is Heather and I was referred to this site by an online friend who suspects I may have aspergers or something along those lines.

My little brother is High Functioning Autistic and our mother always said there was something off with me and that she is sure I am somewhere on the spectrum, but not as severely affected as my little bro.

I'm 23, have maybe 3 friends, none of them really close friends and I feel fine about that.
I have 2 little toddler boys and am in a long term relationship, suffering recurring but intermittent communication issues based on my inability to understand certain phrasing, complex emotional issues, and how to accurately and appropriately convey my emotions.

Major interests are science (Physics and Chemistry mostly), Anthropology, Psychology, and Philosophy.

I have been diagnosed as OCD in the past and suffered from long term, stress-triggered, eating disorder-like behaviors.

I'm not sure if I am over-sharing or leaving critical details out.
I'm going to go read more and post more things now.

Welcome to this site. It's a very good site and there are a lot of helpful people on here. An online friend also seemed to think it was possible I had Asperger's. He told me he had it and then I said, "What is Asperger's?" That is when I went to Google and started searching. In the past 3 months I've learned a lot about it and realized it is extremely likely that I have it, even though I haven't received an official diagnosis.

At least you have an idea of what the Autism Spectrum is. The whole time I grew up, I never had any idea what it was and my family never knew what it was, so I've gone undiagnosed my whole life, always being different than most people I knew.
