I am friends with all kinds of people: preps, emos, goths, punks, art freaks, geeks, etc. However,I think labels and stereotypes are stupid and pointless.I am drawn to the unique, weird, interesting people who don't fit in ANY label(and most likely hate labels, too),and are just their own person.

I'll get along with just about anyone and I usually make friends with strange people. I mean loners and people with weird hobbies, interest, backrounds. Anything that don't fit interests me. In people I look for details that breake patterns and don't make sence at first.

I like people who are strange combination of various, even conflicting traits.

or then again it may be that if I can predict someones's behaviour or I consider them as "normal" I often lose interest.

I've been given a nickname "chameleon" 'couse I can pretty effortlessly adapt into different ways of thinking. the weirder the better. It's the emotional side that couses me trouble ' couse I find it hard to read no matter who I'm dealing with.

I may be a bit cold and distant but I hardly ever judge anyone (unless they judge me) and I try to concentrate on the positive sides of everyone.

I am also one who can adapt.

I can adapt, but I don't tend to hang around..

Meaning I don't find a comfortable place among any group, so I tend to just connect, then overload or need to escape, then move on.

With musicians it is different, I can hang around :P

Not saying I dislike others or anything, just that I seem to work best alone 90% of the time.

I try and get on with most people these days. But people who can accept me for who I am is a start.

Low-maintenance intelligent people who understand that just because I haven't emailed you in 3 years doesn't mean I don't like you or don't think about you. I just suck at staying in touch.

I have a question. Not to be offensive, but why, if you hate labels, do you feel so compelled to use them? It's a tendancy of yours that I've noted all over the forum, and it's very inconsistant. Even in this post, you use labels like "goths," "punks," "art freaks," and so on.

That said, I tend to connect briefly, overload, and skitter on to be with myself for a time as well; I tend to make the closest friends with, as diseased said, "low-maintenance intelligent people," the sort I can carry on an interesting conversation with and that don't mind the "acclimation" period I need to make close friends that I can hang out with without worrying or overloading. It takes a long time for me to make friends--often upwards of three months of almost everyday contact.

Anyone that shares the same interests at me.

There are people in my school like this, but I've tried fitting in with them and have failed miserably, by being rejected. :(

Anyone I can get along with really. Which isn't very many people, but I prefer to have a small social circle of close friends than loads of aquaintances like most people my age, anyway.

I hang out with hippies, goths, emos, drama kids, ravers, young starving artists, young starving musicians, gay people, and anime/movie/sci-fi/fantasy/gaming nerds. (I make no secret of the fact that I actually -like- labels, btw).
Pretty much all of the sorts of people listed above (the ones that I know, anyway) have interests, beliefs, or stylistic tendencies similar to mine in some way or another.
My favorite spots to sit around and talk to people are cafes. Conversation always goes well with coffee and secondhand smoke (though I'm not too big a fan of the latter).

Because it's like seeing the point of view of other people. Some people WISH to label themselves. If they want to be what people EXPECT them to be,rather than what they WANT to be,then what the hell ever.

There are also other reasons and if you wish to know, then please PM me.

Intelligent people who can understand and get along with me, and generally interesting people. Prefer Aspies as friends more, as I have a hard time getting to know NTs. Alot of people's personalities repel me like garlic does to vampires  *Is not a vampire*

I think I can pretty much like anyone who's not popular, because usually the people I see who are popular are jerks who often make fun of the less popular people.
