Thanks man. I'm quite surprised that you are only one reply on this thread. No one gives a s**t about my news made to international headlines? About my life with aspergers, and this is aspergers forum..........piss poor attitude going on here....

Thanks guys again.

I noticed that WP has more of ranting and complaining people over than who is appreciative. I mean less people praise and appreciate. They instead crapping themselves....

Wonderful work, Matthew! As an Australian myself, it was nice to see this. Educated and sympathetic coverage should always be welcome, and you are doing an admirable job with your efforts. It is often hard to speak about oneself so frankly like you have, and I commend you for it.

Classy, sophisticated and stylish 8) Aspie style. 5 stars, AussieMatty!

You've presented a strong and uplifting statement with elegance; many thanks for this :)

That's a great message that you have. I wish I would have watched the video sooner. It has a very positive message. :D

:D That's terrific (the interview and accompanying video)! It's great you have the courage to speak up and get out there to educate those with prejudice. Congratulations!

Nice work Matt. Every little movement helps.

I work in a shrinking public service down here in South Australia, where the heart of the organisation's speckled with autistic personalities. None of them know of it, of course, and their right to ignorance is supported by the culture. I learned a few years back what autism was, and I've worked on the board of a local support group for the last couple of those. At work, I'm abjured to silence. Noone's ever expressed any interest in what it's like for me. There are, if the stats are real, many thousands of people like me out here in the community - each one locked into a cultural trap that can only lead to oblivion. What has to happen to make adult autism real?
