in polycystic ovarian syndrome, docs can help you ovulate so you can get pregnant when the time comes.

Hi,

If want to have the facial hair removed there are places that do laser trements for hair removal

There is a book out if want to understand PCOS better the book is called The Ultimate PCOS Handbook by Colette Harris & Theresa Cheung this may help.

I have PCOS. I take medications for it, metformin.
I also take birth control pills
Best thing I did to relieve symptoms was go on a low carb diet.
I also started to take Saw Palmetto. My hair is thining and I get unwanted hair in other places.
After taking the Saw Palmetto, these things started to reverse.
The low carb diet kept my emotions more even, as well as helped me lose weight.
The low carb diet also helped with the metformin side effects.

Hey

2 of my colleagues had it. One of them i know had all the symptoms you have. She was put on hormones to regulate the ovulation. In parallel she worked out to loose weight. She was in her mid 20ies when she was diagnosed and had gained a lot of weight. I saw her after a year and she had become half the size and was all of the external symptoms were gone. She had told me that just exercising and diet was not enough but it was equally important to get the hormones to get the periods to start.
