Now as I'm typing this, I think I could simply wait until tuesday to ask my psychotherapist how the evaluation process works, but anyways, here's what's on my mind:

Two months ago I decided it was about time to get my ADD and possible anxiety diagnosed, so an intake at a clinic registers me (or whatever he does) with my request for an evaluation. Now I had considered Aspergers, but I said in anxiety instead. However, after seeing my intake who thinks I might indeed have Aspergers and thinking about it I realized I don't really have an anxiety disorder. I finally got to see a psychiatrist last month, he prescribed a sleeping aid and an ADHD medication (although the I need insurance authorization before I can get full coverage).

I'm still in the evaluation phase and I'm wondering, do I have to be evaluated all over again for Aspergers or will it be considered later on?

You may need another evaluation...

Ok, I figured... the same psychiatrist can do that? How long would it take?

Absolutely... It'd pob be better to go to the same one, and I think it would only take another visit if the doc remembers you. If not he may need to do addyl testing but even them I don't expect that it'd take more than a one or two more visits. Then they would just mail you the records if you asked.
