do you hold your hands in strange positions? is this an aspie or autie thing?
Haven´t really thought about it before, but I did as a child. I remember that my reaction to stumbling (I often did) was to cross my fingers tight and hold my arms into my body. I distinctly remember to notice this myself and thinking that it was a silly reaction when falling. I decided not to do it anymore and try to do something more rationel (is this normal behaviour in 4-5 year old kids??).
I do not remember if I did it in other situations, probably did. I seem to have picked up some of the behaviour clues fairly early in life (like not talking to yourself in public, not mumbling and laughing when reading a book etc.)
Thanks for bringing it up, I am still investigating my new life
