We should vote on a song that is representative of the struggles of those with AS.

My nomination is "If I Ever Leave This World Alive" by Flogging Molly.

This is the best link I could find to hear the whole thing for free, but you have to download Rhapsody, which my McAffee advisor says is fine.

good point solid. it's a much more optimistic take than flogging molly too. hey everybody--try to find links to the songs or at least to 30 second samples and put them in your post unless your nom. is a really popular song that everyone's heard. and lyrics if you can.

I like Flogging Molly because I think of Aspie's as run-down swashbuckling ex-pirate gypsies with a soft side and a creepy way with the fiddle. But ah.

anything by Backstreet Boys. they really are an inspiration..each lyric so thoughtful...maybe a time they have made me see how I'm *not* alone in this crazy, mixed up world.

willow i know how you feel. and they are *so* not gay. not like that would matter, but guys are just jealous of how talented they are, don't you think? i cry when i hear any of their songs, and then i throw up just a little in my mouth and swallow it.

I have highlighted in bold the words that conjure images of Einstien, Newton, Edison, etc. etc.

The point is, all great men are very individual men. Or were at the very beginning. They all had time alone to themselves, and great minds to back them up.
