Wow. I'm surprised. I didn't think I did that well. I guess my trick was that I noticed that the genuine smiles appeared to look like laughs while the fake smiles didn't appear to be expressing much emotion.

I got 12 right. I think I should've gotten 14, maybe, because I realized that I had two wrong after I selected it. I'm kind of surprised that I got that high, too. One thing I found interesting was that I only ever looked at the mouth. What a very Aspie-like thing to do! I never once looked at the person's eyes to see the emotion. I judged from their mouth alone.

You got 12 out of 20 correct - and I agree that if you look at the eyes it's easier, and also that they have weird teeth.

and what do you guys mean it was rigged? 8O

Interesting information on the bottom, though, when you finish. I was going by the eye-crinkles and the laughing...
Although:

Quote:
Lines around the eyes do sometimes appear in intense fake smiles, and the cheeks may bunch up, making it look as if the eyes are contracting and the smile is genuine. But there are a few key signs that distinguish these smiles from real ones. For example, when a smile is genuine, the eye cover fold - the fleshy part of the eye between the eyebrow and the eyelid - moves downwards and the end of the eyebrows dip slightly.

Seems pretty average. I actually decided on most before I hit the button to see the smile.
