perhaps an unpopular opinion in a sports-mad world, but i never had the olympics genes, i guess. they just bored me, since i was a little kid. watching paint dry is more stimulating to me.

I've been doing my best to avoid them.

When I was little, I used to watch. But now I have no interest. In fact, I've lost interest in sports altogether.

i suppose if i didn't have the fumble genes, i'd like sports better. but mandatory school physical education soured me on the whole thing, all the unwholesome competition left a very bitter taste in me.

My favorite sports include: practicing dodgy looks, avoiding human contact, splashing in puddles, imaginary pirates, and general youthful folly.

I can't bother with the olympics pn TV or whatnot, because the Meems Olympics are on a 24 hour cycle in my life.

If something caught my eye, such as weight lifting, acrobatics or the balance beam than I would watch. Otherwise I really couldn't get interested in the Olympics.

Some sports are enjoyable, and the ceremonies are quite interesting.
It's fun to see athletes getting tired. And women's swimming, for obvious reasons, is also quite enjoyable.

I could really care less. I will watch them if they are on TV at some place I happen to be but it's not something I would choose to see on my own. Then again, sports in general elicit a meh response from me as I can see no practical value to them.

I couldn't care less about the Olympics. I just get so sick of hearing about them that I try to tune it all out, but it's damn near impossible when everybody's talking about them and even making stupid memes about them on the internet. I can't even escape them on my favorite blogs, always making updates on who won which medal when they could be posting something much more interesting.

Poll doesn't include my option:
Love any sport that I'm playing in... But can't see point of sitting in front of TV watching someone I don't know participate in an activity I'm unlikely to ever take up.

I find sports incredibly boring, and these silly London Olympics have been raved about since 2004! I can't wait until it's all over.

The Paralympics is even more annoying, it's never about the sports it's only ever about the people. It's nothing but a glorified freak show, I wish the advertisers focused on the actual games themselves. It's unfair on the athletes to have to use their deformities as their claim to fame.
