Hi everyone, I finally decided to register here. I'm not very social but lately I've felt very lonely so I thought this place might be welcoming. I've struggled with aspergers, social anxiety, OCD and other issues for quite awhile. I was officially diagnosed with aspergers several months ago along with the other listed "ailments", social anxiety I've had for a long time and its only gotten worse with age. I'm to the point now where I'm terrified to leave the house and interact with others, I feel a mixed fear and resentment of other people. Part of it is paranoia mixed with some bad experiences.
I have an eclectic range of interests. I love comic books (DC, Marvel, Vertigo) and manga (Akira, Berserk, Appleseed to name a few) and cartoons in general. Really loved Gargoyles,Batman (TAS and Beyond) and the 90s run of the Xmen. I love LOTS of movies, I'm not even going to bother listing them all because that would just bore people.
Video games are great too, I grew up with a genesis and PC that had Dos then Windows 95. Later got a psx and snes. I was a big fan of the Capcom fighters and arcade beatem ups too, such as Alien Vs Predator, Cadillacs And Dinosaurs, D&D etc. like with movies I'm not going to even begin to list my favorites in this topic.
Love lots of music too, I hate facebook but the spotify ap, WHICH I LOVE, forced me back. Love some of all the genres, 'cept for country and dubstep, sorry. I don't hate on people who like things I don't care for, just not my cup of tea. My most listened to genres are: shoegaze,industrial rock,ambient,experimental and soundtracks. Most listened to musicians are Boards of Canada, Lustmorde and Skinny Puppy.
Hopefully I can make at least a few friends...!
