I also don't care for that avatar. It reminds me of today's sarcasm that started in the late 80s.

I just take to say "oh well". To me it communicates how I feel when I just can't quite understand something, but I have no choice but to deal with it. Kind of like accepting a fate I don't like, but can't change. It's the expression I actually made a lot in trying to deal with my abusive father. I would have to do what he said no matter what. Of course I never made that expression in front of his face. It was a way for me to express frustration without getting in further trouble for doing nothing wrong. If anyone sees this "guy" in my posts. This is what I mean to express. Never sarcasm.

I think the laughing guy is the worst << He reminds me of some creepy dude. It kind of looks like he's making obscene perverted facial expressions and I always think of that when I see that face. haha

<- this guy is also bad when used in a sentense directed at you.

I like this guy I use it mostly when I'm making fun of myself or acknowledging that I'm being silly.

I couldn't agree more. Some the emoticons in the "view more emoticons" area are really useless. For example, at what point in any conversation would one feel their point was better made by adding this guy:

That smiley reminds me of the female cattiness that all started with that TV show, Rosanne.

I use it for sarcasm and when I think something is stupid.

You all know which one I hate. The one that is supposed to be open-mouthed and in suprise, but looks like they're bearing their teeth whist loking angry.
