How much do you guys talk when you are at school?

When I'm at school, I hardly talk at all. I answer questions when I am asked and I only ask my classmates questions when the information I'm seeking is absolutely essential (which is almost never). I talk to my friend at breaks and lunch times and I sometimes converse with my teachers. Other than that, I'm completely silent while incessant verbal diarrhea gushes forth from the mouths my NT classmates.

Do you talk a lot at school?

It used to depend on my state of mind. I had some really good days during which I would joke with friends and have a fun time. I always had trouble participating in lessons though. I did my work but I couldn't get myself to say something most of the time because I don't get why I should say something that I just read and I don't want to say something which is incomplete either.
Then there were days, sometimes weeks when I came to school and felt like I could even greet those I met there. If somebody approached me to say 'Hi' I already felt like it was too much for me, everything was loud and seemed to never stand still and I was basically sick of people the moment I got to my bus shelter, or even just downstairs to have breakfast. :/
Until I was in 7th grade I sometimes didn't know how to take it any longer and told my teachers I felt sick or dizzy and had to go home. In a way it wasn't anything I made up since I felt so bad at times that I didn't see a possibility to attend another class and just couldn't imagine how I would possibly be able to get through the day without dying. I think my teachers often didn't believe me though. ^^

I don't talk much unless I'm around my friends (or a teacher that I like).

I sort of avoid talking to about 90% of my school's population...over the years I have discovered that, 9 times out of 10, A: They do not really have anything interesting to say, B: They probably hate me anyway.

I didn't talk to anyone except to answer questions directed at me, and sometimes with friends at lunch. In the first few years of elementary school I didn't even respond to teachers because I had selective mutism. After I got over that I just wasn't very interested in chatting with people. I also remember being pedantic with the "don't talk during class" rule in elementary school.

A little. I will respond minimally when communicated with. I only have one friend, and I never see him at school.

I answer questions in classrooms and I talk to my friends at lunch and if they are in the classroom near me. I talk to the teachers sometimes. Other than that, I will be quiet while everyone else say random stuff.

I talk here and there when spoken to. I also talk spontaneously when I am alone with friends or a teacher, but that's not very often. It's not hard for me to go through an entire week of just observing.

I'm a very social anti-social person. What can I say?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not navigating through conversations all suave-like as James Bond would. I just don't care if I make an idiot of myself, which happens every other time I say something.
