I was diagnosed with Autism when I was 4 years old. I'm 30 now, but this is my first time talking to others with the same. I'm very nervous, but my therapist told me that coming to an online forum will help me get to know people without it being too trying on me.

Thought I was diagnosed with Autism, I have not gotten any treatment until recently. This is new territory for me.

Hi there Emma, and welcome to the forum! I myself was diagnosed around that age but only started to accept and look more into it the past couple of years. Congrats on taking the first steps. If you post around here you will find most people to be quite friendly, there's no need to be nervous around here I hope you do get to know others, as well as discover some new insight about Autism.
