i know that is a lot of information at there but if we can get a group of parents to talk and not be a shame of the aspeie then the world would learn how to take our kids.

Did you have a chance to look at our Parents Forum? If you click on Forums (at the left of your screen near the top) then the Forums page will come up, and the Parents Forum is one of those.

As for being ashamed, I was very ashamed when I got here a few months ago. I'm 56 years old and just found I'm aspie. Well there's nothing to be ashamed of and much to be proud of - and it was hanging out here at WrongPlanet that taught me that. I hope you'll discover it too. :)

There would be very many adults out there who haven't been diagnosed with autism and who have somehow managed to muddle through life. It's no shame to find out you are Aspie and it is a relief to know why you think and act the way you do.
