The sad news is in - - the gentle giant Michael Clark Duncan has passed away. He had never recovered entirely from the heart attack he had suffered months ago. Farewell to a big man who made his mark in movies not only for his physical size, but also for his acting ability.

If I was a crying man I'd cry. It is heartbreaking, though. I really did think he was very believable. He was also unique, not just some generic fly by night, Central Casting lookalike.

He looked like he possibly did a lot of anabolic steroids over the years which is probably related to him dying young since the heart is a muscle after all. I remember reading an interview in which he hinted that he could bench press over 600 lbs.

Good thing The Finder was cancelled before he died. It would have been cancelled after he died.

He finally "rolled on two", I guess.

RIP big man.

Damn. Sad news indeed. Loss for words here. Definitely one of my favourite performers of the last decade. Gone far too soon.

how tragic. :(

I will always remember him for The Green Mile and for his work as a video game voice actor (he did voice work in games like Saints Row and others).
