As there was no sensible or official answer in other posts, I would like to ask, is there anyway to delete your Wrong Planet account and never come back here or not be allowed to log in and post?
Disclaimer: this site is wonderful but I need to ask.
Just feel we should have the right to delete without violating the Terms of Service. Just because we all live in other parts of the world does not mean a site owner should not ignore, even if it is not law in their country. requests to delete you account.
I have been horrified in Australia to find out you cannot delete Craigslist and another site. On one site you join for free and they don't allow you to leave or remove your photos without paying a fee. Leeches. They have to make money - umm well get another job, it is not a data retention issue, just if I want to leave why should I be denied that? With Criagslist, the owners should be shot for that rule, but I used a different email address so I can get rid of them, account may remain on their site but I will not use it so it will rot in cyber hell.
I would not want to start posting make money from home or insulting others to get banned, that is unethical and wrong especially as most of us take the forums seriously, but I still would like someone please to tell how it is possible. I might be reading the site wrong, but I have not found a delete your account thing on here.
