Growing up, I was spit on, pissed on, sh** on, and f***ed with as people walked all over me and used me for comedic entertainment like I was some kind of sideshow. People never looked past my Asperger's to see the real me. I was the absolute number one outcast. This song became my personal anthem of those days while I make sure they never happen again in the future. I hope I get to play this song at my high school reunion.

I have a lot of sensory issues. The ones that make me the most unhappy are my vision (lights are awful and contrast issues that cause a lot of eye pain) and the constantly feeling hunger without the feeling of ever getting full. I have binge eaten til I have made myself quite ill. An urgency to make the hunger go away. I battle this every single day and some days feel like I will go insane. So - this is the song that I can really relate to.

It's a song that means many things to many people. To me, it's a reminder of all I could have been and never will be and that the best years of life are behind me and all I have left of them are painful memories.

With my Asperger's, I've made plenty of mistakes that made me look foolish. I've even done terrible things I wish I could have done differently and to this day I still wish I could take them all back as I struggle to be normal in front of everyone's eyes while trying to maintain my unique individuality without mimicking another person. In the end, I still ended up depressed not fitting in nor could I change the past.
