I have realized that i am face blind. I have always relied on things other than people's faces to recognize them, like shoes or backpacks, but sometimes those things change and then i don't recognize people and then they get offended. it's gotten worse lately and i have a job at a place where i meet a lot of people and it's getting really annoying and embarrassing. what do i do?

Not sure if it is something you can get over. I can only tell people apart by their hair and glasses. If they change that, I get really confused. But I am learning to use general head shape along with their voice to tell them apart. Alternatively, you can just be honest - telling people you are face blind is pretty understandable.

I have a different problem, I can usuall remember faces but am terrible at retaining peoples names and associating the names with the faces. If i'm in a group of people I will have forgotten their names a few minutes later. Its really embarressing.
