Can a man be Gay if he does NOT like/want anal sex?

If he likes every other form of male with male sexual activity except anal is he gay?

Lots of gay men don't participate in anal sex or anal play. There's also quite a few straight men who do. Sexuality is not determined by sex acts.

Definately. You can be a man who is aroused by other men and not want to penetrate or be penetrated. My only significant experience with another guy involved no **** sex and was still quite satisfying.

In your experience is the lack of interest in anal activities the exception amongst gay men? What percentage of the whole do you think they would represent?
Are they regarded as 'less gay' by the males who engage fully in anal interactions?

Actually gay men who engage in anal sex are a minority. I'm not sure of the actual statistics, but I know I've read studies that indicated it isn't as common or prevalent as the media and such might have you believe.

There are still so many things one can do with a partner aside from that. A lot of people have the misconception that without anal it's "just blowjobs" but there is so much more to experience. People have come up with some very inventive methods of intimacy.

And no, not liking anal does not make someone "less gay" and anyone who would try to insinuate such is wrong. Sexual attraction works differently for everybody.

I would word this a bit differently. Most gay men like anal sex, but many of them find it requires too much preparation, or is too time-consuming, and prefer to just do oral 80% of the time. I certainly wouldn't say most don't 'engage' in it though.

I would venture to suggest that anal intercourse is practiced regularly by only a small percentage of gay men--perhaps less than 15%.

Even if we look at infrequent participation in anal intercourse, I still suspect that there is a substantial number of gay men--perhaps 25%--who have never participated in anal intercourse, either as a top or a bottom.

I am a male and find men sexually attractive but not women and that's enough for me to identify myself as homosexual (gay). It's just my opinion. I would be very disappointed if I don't qualify as homosexual... Not that I really care about what others think, to be honest. I don't know what the official definition of homosexuality is if there is any. I can't even imagine having anal intercourse or even other forms of sexaul activity because many of them are quite disgusting. I don't mind other people doing whatever they like in their privacy.
