Every time I shower my head feels disconnected and very fuzzy. This has bothered me my whole life. Is anyone else like this and if so do or have you ever borrowed your head in a pillow to help make it stop?

I'm not sure I am interpreting your description of your feeling when exiting shower correctly. Do you mean you feel dizzy? Like you've been in too long with too much hot water, sort of thing?

Maybe try bringing a bottle of ice water into the shower with you. Take sips from it every once in a while to keep your body temperature down. I do that. Not for this purpose, just more because it feels nice to drink cold water while in hot shower.

It's probably the steam, it does that to me sometimes. I think when it's really steamy there is a bit less oxygen, or at least the air feels really heavy. If you're an anxious person you will probably notice the effects more than others. I think this one has nothing to do with Asperger's at least!

Given the amount of H2O suspended and the heat [if hot] I would not be surprised - I can get similar effects in a laundromat at times.

Me, I simply cannot do a shower [well, I can stand under a running shower, but an observer would see I am not having the normal shower experience]. My sensitivities are disrupted by the pelting droplets. I once stepped outside nude on a warm day with gentle rain falling - felt as if I was havng gravel flung at me - so much for what others claim is a great sensation.
