learning how and when to look at someone?
Ive realized that a lot of what I do in social situations can be considered creepy, or just weird, and I don't intend for it to be so, I can't look at people in the eye, I watch people, and sometimes people think I'm checking them out, when I'm just watching, I also have a problem with staring at people as well, and don't know how to look at people the right way, or when no one is talking where do you look?
I have the same problem, part of the reasoning for my diagnosis actually was the fact that my eye contact was limited. I always hear about how people don't trust you when you avoid things like eye contact, just stare into space (which does make it seem like I'm checking people out some times as well), and other quirks like that. All I know is that if someone asks me a question like "What's wrong with you?" I'll give them a straight and direct answer about my condition and those who don't bother, just don't care about how they look at you. But I've never been asked anything of the sort since around elementary school when I used to do even stranger things like sip the peach juice directly when we get a little tray with peaches. :3
