Ladies, can you tell when you're ovulating, or is it mysterious to you?

I never get my cycle down right. Other women seem to be able to tell when that time of the month is approaching. It always surprises me.

Of course I can. When I give someone a standing ovulation, I am usually on my feet clapping, so it's pretty obvious to me.

The "girl juice " is very thick and mucus(mucoid?),I also get hornier, usually. When I was on the pill,I couldnt tell and was never regular, rarely got a period.I dont think my mood changes or sensitivities....but they sure do before my periods....yow,I fit all the stereotypes for that.

Is it true that people gain weight on the pill?

The only weight I gained from it was in my chest.

Yeah, I can tell. Of course I only ovulate about twice a year...

Some people do, but some people don't. I've been on the pill since I was 14, and I've been switched around on different brands of pills in that time. And I've been underweight my whole life, so if it ever made me gain weight, it was only a pound or two.

Anyone who can't tell when she's ovulating should read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." The signs should be obvious after that. ;)
