I'm just gathering up some imformation to see how many people drink, and how many don't.

I drink, three times a week, so I guess I'm a drinker.

I go down the pub a few times a week and have a fair few pints each time. I don't tend to drink that much at home, though. I'll have to cut down on the beer intake after Christmas, I think. I rarely get drunk in the pub - to be honest, it's just not worth the hassle. There is also the fact that I'm rather dyspraxic so the more pissed-up I get the more likely I am to fall over or into someone. When I've had enough, I just leave and carry on drinking at home.

I think you could probably say that I am a drinker, yes. :)

I used to drink quite regularly. I don't any more, though, because of my epilepsy and because I can have just as good a night out drinking Coke as I can drinking alcohol...

My choice of drink on the average night out is usually coffee.
I do drink alcoholic beverages sometimes, but only a small sip of wine or the occasional glass of hard cider on holidays. Sometimes a gin and tonic during summer vacation.

I never cared much for alcohol. When in my early twenties, I would accept a drink when pressed, but invariably put it down somewhere and forgot about it. I would also find that I became unpleasantly hot and flushed if I drank so much as a sip of wine or a mixed drink. Now I strictly avoid it. :)

Used to drink. Spent 6 months virtually an alcoholic in 2002 so avoid the stuff mostly now.

I may have a glass of wine in a formal dinner setting... which may be just a couple of times a year.

25 years ago I had a moderately severe problem with alcohol abuse. I grew out of it, I guess...

I drink about 8 or 9 beers a month.

I'm going to presume that by "drinker" you mean drinker of alcohol, took a while to figure that one out, i was telling myself that everyone drinks and is therefore a drinker.

Anyway, i do not drink alcohol, i don't like what it does to people. I have no problem if it makes you feel happy or whatever, i just don't like the idea of being out of control adn doing something i'll regret later, i have enough of those. I also don't like it when you see people really drunk, stumbling up the road, becoming aggressive and being very unpredictable, it makes me nervous and insecure.

I agree with Melancholy Bunny. That's another reason I don't really care for alcohol.
