hi,

i am fairly sure that i am an aspie. i have known about aspergers for more than 10 years. 1st off i recognised my father as being an asperger after which it slowly sank in that i also have qualifying characteristics in abundance too!

i have often read on these boards that many AS find it easier to communicate online than in real life ie 'face to face'. but i don't. i have been trying on and off for years but i don't seem to fit in anywhere. i wish i could communicate better and participate more, but i find it really difficult to not just jump on small details of a post and miss the bigger picture or else by the time i find words to express what i would like to say, the thread is ancient history.

does anyone else have this problem?

Is it not a bit early for New Year celebrations?

btw, have you seen the route master in harlesden? i got lost on the way back from visiting a friend a few weeks back and ended up in harlesden. but all was not lost. i saw a real live route master that you can go in. it is the office part of a some weird scrap merchants type shoppe just opposite the tube station.

Sepia I am new on the site and have the same problem as you, your not alone, never fitted in anywhere myself.
