In 1980s Britain, children's TV shows often held competitions. To enter, applicants (often children or teenagers) often had to send off a postcard with the correct answer. Basically, it means that a nice, short answer is requested.

Depends where you are. For us Westerners, it's March 31st. But for Eastern Christians, its May 5th.

I see. I googled it quickly by request without looking deeply into detail. I should try to understand how the denominations calculate the date already, unless it's complicated. Most religious people have nice fat calendars hanging on the wall that solve the problem afaik.
